Make your Chocolate Chips even better by adding Malt!

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1  1/2 Cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 Cup Soda Fountain® Malted Milk Powder
  • 1/4 Cup brown sugar
  • 1 Cup semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 Cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt butter, should be completely melted although not too hot.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, mix butter with sugars and malt powder until well combined.
  4. Sir in vanilla and egg.
  5. Add flour, baking soda and salt.
  6. Mix dough until just combined. Dough should be soft and a little sticky although not overly sticky.
  7. Stir in chocolate chips.
  8. Scoop out 1.5 Tbsp. of dough on a baking sheet, place 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 7 – 10 minutes or until cookies are set.
