Grinch Malt Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 box french vanilla cake mix (dry mix only)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 drops green food coloring
  • 1/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup Soda Fountain Malted Milk Powder
  • Red cinnamon candies (I used red gummy bears cut up)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F degrees
  2. Blend together cake mix, food coloring, oil and eggs until creamy, set aside
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together powdered sugar and malted milk powder
  4. Drop dough balls for 20 minutes before transferring to a baking sheet to bake
  5. Place on backing sheet and press 1 large candy in middle.
  6. Bake for 8 – 10 minutes until just set.  Watch so they do not brown.
  7. Cool 3 – 4 minutes on a pan before removing them to cool on a wire rack.

 

When I had my “taste-tester” to try a cookie, he kiddingly said, “I think I need to taste another cookie”

I’ll take that as a yes he liked them!  Thank you dear husband!
