Do not hesitate to spend a night veggin’ out, watching rom-coms, painting nails, and pampering yourselves with face masks with your girls. The next time you and your friends plan a fun night to treat yourselves, go big. Here are a three ideas to get the ball rolling for your next ladies night out (or in)….

DIY Bath Bombs

Homemade bath bombs
These cute little orbs have been blowing up lately. Literally. Bath bombs are great for multiple reasons:

  1. You can use them as gifts, or just use them yourself.
  2. They can be used for aroma therapy if you deal with stress, aches and pains, or other ailments.
  3. They are really fun to make, especially with friends!

These luxurious bath treats are easy to make, but do take a bit of time to prepare. This makes them a great activity for your girl’s night. You will need ingredients like baking soda, corn starch, citric acid, Epsom salt, water, essential oils, coconut oil, and food coloring if you want yours to be colorful! For amounts and instructions on how to make these lovely bath bombs, you can search “DIY bath bombs” on Google or Pinterest! There are loads of different recipe!

Volunteer!

Volunteers

Volunteering is a great way to hang out with your closest friends while also giving back to your community and the world at large. This is a unique ladies night idea that helps others and is easy to organize. There are so many ways a group can volunteer together. Lots of places around the holidays need volunteers because of the cold weather, and because it is the season of giving. There are also several nationwide organizations that help feed people of impoverished countries around the world. Getting together to volunteer is a great way to plan a fun night.

These non-profits encourage people to bring parties of volunteers to help package and prepare freeze-dried meals for these certain countries. There are also more local orgs, like animal shelters, homeless shelters, or even helping raise money for a local charity that you and your friends can help out! This is a great way to take your mind off of the stressful day-to-day tasks and focus on doing good.

BYOR (Bring Your Own Recipe)

Chocolates

Baking seems to be one of those activities that always delivers. If it doesn’t deliver delicious cookies or brownies, it will deliver unforgettable memories of one of your friends forgetting to turn on the timer for the cupcakes. If you’re looking for fun and easy ladies night in ideas, try a BYOR!

How to plan a BYOR: Ask all of your girlfriends to find a new recipe that they think would be easy and fun to make. When everyone gets to your house, they write it on a slip of paper and put it in a bowl. You, as the host, then get to pick 1-2 recipes to make. The person who brings the recipe needs to have the ingredients with them in case it has odd additions!

If you or your friends need some fun recipes to contribute for your ladies night in ideas, you could suggest the Pink Malty Squirrel for a chilly and sweet alcoholic drink. It has the delicious Soda Fountain Malted Milk Powder (http://www.ctlfoods.com/soda-fountain-malted-milk-powder-one-pound-canister/) in it, so make sure you get your hands on a canister! (“Pink Malty Squirrel” http://recipes.ctlfoods.com/recipe/pink-malty-squirrel/)

Another idea that uses Malted Milk Powder is making decedent Strawberry Malt Truffles! They’re really simple to make and only take around an hour to prepare and make. Also, truffles are amazing…and sometimes addicting! (“Strawberry Malt Truffles” http://recipes.ctlfoods.com/recipe/strawberry-malt-truffles/)

These fun and easy activities and ideas for your ladies night are sure to help you start having more fun and meaningful girl’s nights with your squad. Have fun!
