Peanut Butter Chocolate Malt Bars

Who doesn’t like peanut butter and chocolate … then add the malt and you took it to the next level of scrumptiousness!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup Soda Fountain® Malted Milk Powder
  • 2 Cups chocolate sandwich cookies (crushed)
  • 1/2 Cup chopped peanuts (optional)
  • 1/4 Cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted
  • 8 oz. (1 package) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 3/4 Cups cold milk (divided)
  • 2 boxes (3.4 or 4 oz.) Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
  • 1/2 Cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
  • 8 oz. (1 Tub) Whipped Topping

Instructions

  1. Mix crushed cookies, chopped peanuts, sugar and butter in 13 x 9-inch dish; press firmly onto bottom of dish.
  2. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  3. Beat cream cheese in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed until creamy.
  4. Gradually add 1/2 cup of the milk, beating until well blended.
  5. Add remaining milk, dry pudding mixes and malted milk powder.
  6. Beat on low speed 2 minutes or until well blended.
  7. Fold in the peanut butter until blended.
  8. Gently stir in half of the whipped topping.
  9. Pour over crust.
  10. Refrigerate 2 hours or until set.
  11. Spread remainder of whipping topping.
  12. Sprinkle with 3-4 crushed cookies and sprinkle with malt powder.
  13. Cut into 24 bars.
  14. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
