Best Ever Malty Apple Crisp

A total delight! Best served Warm with Vanilla Ice Cream.

Ingredients

Ingredients for Apple Crisp

  • 5 – 6 Baking Apples (Such as Granny Smith) Peeled, cored, and chopped small
  • 1/4 Cup chopped Pecans
  • 5 Tbsp Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 4 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 Cup Soda Fountain® Malted Milk Powder

Ingredients for Topping

  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Dry Oatmeal
  • 1/3 Cup Soda Fountain® Malted Milk Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
  • 7 Tbsp Butter, chilled and cut into small pieces
  • 1/4 Cup chopped Pecans

Instructions

Directions for Topping

  1. Mix together dry ingredients.
  2. Mix butter in dry ingredients until butter is mixed in completely.
  3. Stir in Pecans.

Directions for Apple Crisp

  1. Mix ingredients together and place in a 9″ x 13″ baking pan.
  2. Add topping.
  3. Bake apple crisp for 30 to 35 minutes or until apple is soft when you insert a knife or toothpick.
