Want a low calorie frozen snack at night? These frozen banana, malt and chocolate dessert will sure to satisfy everyone!

Frozen Malted Banana and Chocolate Chips

These frozen Banana dessert is a great change when you add Malt along with Chocolate Chips!  Reduced calories rather than eating rich ice cream too!

Ingredients

6 very ripe bananas
¾  cup Soda Fountain® Malted Milk Powder
¾ cup semi-sweet “mini” chocolate chips

Instructions

Line a baking sheet or jellyroll pan, with wax or parchment paper.  Slice the bananas into ½-inch slices and lay flat on the wax/parchment lined baking sheet.  Cover with plastic wrap and place in the freezer for 2 hours.

Remove frozen bananas from the freezer for about 5 minutes.   The bananas should be a little soft although still frozen.

Place bananas in a food processor or blender.  Mix until smooth and creamy.  Stir in ¾ cup of Malted Milk Powder.  Then stir in the ¾ cup of mini chocolate chips.

Pour frozen banana mixture in a container with a cover and place in the freezer for an hour or until frozen, hard to the touch.

When ready to eat, remove from freezer, let stand for a few minutes, then enjoy!

Drizzle with chocolate syrup (optional).
