Birds Nest Cookies

Malt gives it that extra special flavor

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 4 cups chow mein noodles
  • 1/4 cup Soda Fountain® Malted Milk Powder
  • Appr. 36 colorful mini candy eggs (malted milk or peanut butter candy eggs)

Instructions

  1. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large microwave safe bowl, combined the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips.
  3. Microwave in 30 seconds intervals, stirring between each interval, until the chips are melted and the mixture is combined and smooth.
  4. Stir in 1/4 cup of Soda Fountain Malted Milk Powder.
  5. Mix in the chow mein noodles until chocolate is covering all noodles.
  6. Scoop a large amount (1/4 cup or more) on parchment paper and make a slight hole in middle for eggs.
  7. Place 3 candy eggs in center of each mound.
  8. Let stand until fully set, about 2 hours if placed in refrigerator.
  9. Store any leftover cookies in container for up to 1 week.
